According to Kelly Gatewood, Podcast is software and hardware combination that permits automatic downloading of audio files which make is use for listing at users’ conveniences.

2. How does podcasting work?
In order for podcast to work a software program Podcatchers should be downloaded so that podcast can be listened to.

3. How can teachers use podcasting?
Teachers can record their lectures, project reviews, exam reviews and assignment which the students can access trough podcast. Podcast can also be used for communication with parents the teachers can send weekly reports of students trough podcast.

4. Examples of how podcasting is being used?
Podcast is used to promote learning in schools. It is used in different subjects by many teachers across the nation.

5. What are your thoughts on podcasting and its benefit for teachers and students?
I think that podcast can be very effective. They would like to listen to the lectures trough podcast. This way can be very effective for the students who are not good note takers. And also for the students who couldn’t write fast. It can also makes communication with parents easier.

I like this podcast because the users of this podcast would never have to logon to the page again and user would even have to give up their email address to podcaster. I think it is a good podcast through this the podcast the shows would be delivered to user’s desktop.

Mr. Steve Sullivan's presentation was very informative and good. I learnt a lot about how I as a teacher can make internet accessible for my students who have visual impairment. I can use the different software and instrument for my students to help them learn better.
